Radio Bible Class is a trusted and effective Bible teaching ministry.  RBC is the producer of "Our Daily Bread", a daily devotional that is used by millions around the world.   We distribute over 100 copies right here at Parkway.

What many perhaps don't know is that RBC produces a whole host of booklets with valuable Biblical teaching on a wide range of subjects.  Furthermore, both the "Our Daily Bread" and their study booklets are available on-line and free of charge.   You can actually view the daily devotional for the day right on the site.   Anywhere you have access to the internet, you can use the "Daily Bread" devotional.    So, say you're at the cottage for the week-end and forgot to bring your paper copy of  "Daily Bread",  you can go to the very page for the day and use it as a guide in your Quiet Time.

MY UTMOST FOR HIS HIGHEST  - Oswald Chambers

Oswald Chambers was born in Scotland and spent much of his boyhood there. His ministry of teaching and preaching took him for a time to the United States and Japan. The last six years of his life were spent as principal of the Bible Training College in London, and as a chaplain to the British Commonwealth troops in Egypt during World War I. After his death, the books which bear his name were compiled by his wife from her own verbatim shorthand notes of his talks.

Reformation Day  October 31

Sunday October 31, 2004 marked the anniversary of the beginning of the Protestant Reformation that began with Martin Luther's nailing of his 95 Theses on the door of the Wittenberg Church.   In an introduction to the singing of Luther's "A Mighty Fortress Is Our God",  our pastor presented a brief history of Martin Luther and his famous hymn.
